About Me

The CLASSeteria Goddess: I am currently the assistant principal at Denver City High School in Denver City, Tx. I have been in education for 25 years. I discovered my love of teaching at a small private school in Utah in 1997, where I taught for 2 years. I this new-found passion led me back to Texas to obtain my teaching certificate from Texas Tech University. I then started teaching and coaching at Mackenzie Middle School in 2000. During my time there, I taught 7th grade English, 6th -8th Physical Education, 6th grade Writing, and the AVID Elective I also served as AVID Coordinator. I recently finished my 2nd Master's Degree in Education Technology Leadership and have begun my doctoral journey. I also have two beautiful daughters, Amber-15, and Brittany-17
